"We booked a 2 night stay - all done from England - with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of help! On arrival at Puku Pan, we were very warmly welcomed even though we were several hours late. We were immediately offered a welcome drink and a meal. All through our stay the food was excellent and was delivered to us with the warmest of African smiles! All the staff were most helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one. We really enjoyed the boat trip and walk on the island in the Kafue River and got very close to elephants! All in all, it was a real treat to have stayed at Puku Pan and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. It is set in an idyllic spot"

"Puku Pan was really excellent, particularly the rock island where we went to fish. As I said, my daughter caught her first fish, a catfish, at Puku Pan and now it is a special place in her life! The staff went out of their way to make everything work for us, in spite of our late arrival on the day we arrived. While the road to Puku Pan from the Itezhi Tezhi road is quite a challenge, it was good to arrive and a pleasant place by the river and start to unwind. We could have stayed longer..."

“We would like to say thank you to you and the entire Amazing Zambia team for a brilliant weekend at Puku Pan, the staff were extremely helpful, the meals were simple, rustic and hit the spot , (the home-made bread was brilliant!!!!!), on the game drive we saw lions and a leopard, and we were amazed at the amount of wildlife out there, we saw water buck, a herd of 7 Sable, Puku's, impala, jackal, fish eagles, and on top of that, there was lion and Hippo in the camp!! The Kids thoroughly enjoyed their break and the fishing was fair for a full moon period with a 6kg Cat fish, Pike, Bream, squeaker and crab!!! We look forward to coming back in the near future and recommend Puku Pan and Amazing Zambia to all as a great place to visit for the entire family, whether for fishing, game viewing, or for simple relaxation”............

"Aaagh, well we had a great time as usual. The staff is so brilliant, and Puku Pan is so relaxing. BUT, what a nightmare with the car! I guess you heard all about it. We were blessed that it happened on the track to Puku Pan, and we were handily rescued by Mathews, Martin and Cephas, (and managed to get to Puku Pan to our accommodation by the Fri night). They were wonderful"
